On March 16, 2015, my second book, Chasing Butterflies, was published by Worldreader. The edition is now out of print. It was an honour to partner with them.
A second edition of the novella will be published through my indie press, Ayoka Books, and Quramo Publishing Limited. The publication date is pending. The cover below is for the Ayoka Books edition.
“A good mother does not run from her child’s home. She always stays and fights.”
Titilope Ojo left Nigeria for the United States over a decade ago, but her mother’s words remain fresh in her mind. When things begin to fall apart in her marriage, Titilope tells herself she has to stay for her son’s sake. She owes him a share of his father’s affection. Her husband, Tomide, believes that when Titilope learns to do things the proper way, the way his long-suffering mother did them, things will fall into place. Despite Titilope’s resolution, life continues to spiral out of her control. Finding herself alone at a crossroad, Titilope must choose between duty and survival.
